My role includes oversight, ad hoc supervision and direction of independent practitioners, giving them regular case support, oversight and advice. This is in a team to around 22 Social Work Practitioners and 70 Occupational Therapists.
I conduct Quality Monitoring and practice visits, and attend meetings and assessments of various forms when the front line social workers are dealing with complex situations and monitor around 4,000 of their assessments per year.
I have also been delivering in house training such as the Mental Capacity Act to the practitioners.
